The Indonesian workforce will not achieve its full potential without including marginalised young people, particularly women and people with disabilities, in the labour market.
To address the issue, Plan Indonesia co-organised a talk show entitled “Ensuring No One Left Behind: Investing in Inclusive Learning for Youth", at the Grand Hyatt Nusa Dua Hotel, Bali, on Tuesday (04/07/2023).
The talk show was part of the Inclusive Lifelong Learning Conference, held by UNESCO in partnership with the Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia and PMO Prakerja.
The session was joined by Dini Widiastuti as Executive Director Plan Indonesia, Ana Maria Peña as Youth Economic Empowerment Senior Advisor Plan International Netherlands representing Plan International, Dr Piti Srisangnam as Executive Director of the ASEAN Foundation, Daniel Baril as Chair of the Governing Board of the UNESCO Institute for Lifelong Learning, and Putri as Plan Indonesia's program participant and representative of young people with disabilities.
