Potentially early text used in the PlayStation Driver settings menu of PlayStation 2 BIOS v1.00. It could or may be a leftover from a system firmware earlier than BIOS v1.00
The early text strings were found in a System Configuration file stored on the memory card.

PlayStation Festival 2000 - Take a closer look at the monitors. The PlayStation 2 demo units are idling on their system menu! - This was February of 2000 so it’s a very good chance the BIOS running on the demo units at the festival is the exact same as the SCPH-10000 retail bios and also that is made available online.
The build date for BIOS v1.00 is 17/01/2000 (January 17, 2000)
