I am a spoken word artist & TBI survivor. I advocate for mental health and traumatic brain injury which almost took my life so I share my experiences through blog videos & spoken word poetry. If I can help one person make more sense out of their experience or be more prepared to support a loved one, then the vulnerability of my words are worth their discomfort!
I have begun accepting clients on a life coaching basis. My areas of expertise are traumatic brain injury, trauma, & learning self love. Visit Decisivelife.org for booking information & testimonials. Please be advised I am not a licensed medical professional. However, I have traveled the journey allowing me to better hear, see, & meet people where they are at in their journey and being able to help guide them. With 1,000+ therapies & anecdotal lived experience. I can understand in ways most medical professional cannot. My content is a testament.

📌 Here's the tool.
If you want your doctor, therapist, neurologist, or
rehab team to know about this resource — this is what
you share with them.
It's a one-page summary of what I've built and what
your fellow survivors are saying about it. It's
designed so a medical professional can read it in
60 seconds and understand why this matters.
Save this image. Screenshot it. Text it. Hand your
phone to your doctor at your next appointment.
You don't have to explain it. The comments in this
video already did that. This gives them the next step.

What do you think someone with this type of cognitive impairment would show up like in society?
How would they present themselves?
Many people will have a pre-conceived notion to what someone in the bottom 1% of cognition is barely functioning, almost like they are brain dead.
Or maybe… they might look like me, in good shape and more articulate than most.
Just because I am intelligent and can do complicated things, doesn’t mean I am not deeply struggling to process information, problem solve, memory retention, and word finding.
We don’t fake a brain Injury, we mask having one.

Your patient leaves the hospital after a brain injury. Then what?
The medical system handles the acute phase. But when survivors go home, they enter years of cognitive fatigue, emotional volatility, identity loss, and isolation — with almost no guidance. TBI survivors are 400% more likely to die by suicide. Most of that risk lives in the gap between discharge and long-term recovery.
That’s the gap I built this resource to fill.
I’m Jason Lalli — a multiple-TBI survivor, certified life coach, published author, spoken word artist, and nationally recognized speaker. I was moderately to severely cognitively impaired. Through cognitive therapy, 160+ hyperbaric oxygen treatments, 430+ sensory deprivation floats, and relentless self-advocacy, I rebuilt what was broken.
Now I can see in others what I had to heal in myself.
Inside Patreon.com/VulnerablyLalli you’ll find 125+ categorized TBI Survivor Experience videos, a comprehensive recovery resource guide built from 1,000+ therapy sessions, the exclusive interview series “I’m Ready to Face the Mirror,” the TBI Butterflies podcast, “Breaking Barriers and Building Bridges” TikTok Live discussions, a curated neuroplasticity playlist, and a growing community of survivors supporting survivors.

I give people permission to simply BE.
