The second edition of ‘Vividhata Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan, which features southern states, opens for public tomorrow i.e. 6th March. People can visit the Mahotsav till 9th March, 2025 between 10 am and 8 pm. Entry will be through Gate no. 35.

The President appreciated the artworks created by the artists belonging to various parts of the country. She said that the eternal relationship between human beings and nature is reflected in their paintings. She urged all to appreciate and promote the rich art and culture of tribal communities.

The artists have made these paintings during their week-long stay at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

President José Ramos-Horta of Timor-Leste conferred the Grand-Collar of the Order of Timor-Leste, the country's highest civilian award, upon President Droupadi Murmu. The award is in recognition of her achievements in public service and dedication to education, social welfare and empowerment of women. President Murmu said that the honour is a reflection of the ties of friendship between India and Timor-Leste.

President Droupadi Murmu arrived in Wellington, New Zealand on the second leg of her three nation visit. She was warmly received by Governor General Dame Cindy Kiro at Government House.
