The second edition of ‘Vividhata Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ at Rashtrapati Bhavan, which features southern states, opens for public tomorrow i.e. 6th March. People can visit the Mahotsav till 9th March, 2025 between 10 am and 8 pm. Entry will be through Gate no. 35.
On her way to the Government Engineering college in Daman, President Droupadi Murmu stopped and interacted with Anitaben Krishan Halpati, a tribal resident of UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The President asked her about her life journey and source of livelihood. Anitaben shared how she has benefitted from PM SVANidhi scheme that helped improve her socio-economic status.
President Droupadi Murmu visited the exhibition showcasing the paintings made by tribal artists at Rashtrapati Bhavan Cultural Centre. The President appreciated the artworks created by the artists belonging to various parts of the country. She said that the eternal relationship between human beings and nature is reflected in their paintings. She urged all to appreciate and promote the rich art and culture of tribal communities.
The artists have made these paintings during their week-long stay at Rashtrapati Bhavan.

The award is in recognition of her achievements in public service and dedication to education, social welfare and empowerment of women. President Murmu said that the honour is a reflection of the ties of friendship between India and Timor-Leste.

President Ratu Wiliame Maivalili Katonivere of Fiji conferred the Companion of the Order of Fiji upon President Droupadi Murmu. This is the highest civilian award of Fiji. President Murmu said that this honour is a reflection of the deep ties of friendship between India and Fiji.
