Nestled under the cliffs along the Aberdeenshire coast, Pennan was the filming location for the 1980s cult film Local Hero. It is a beautifully preserved fishing village and we went to discover its charming history βοΈ

Today is a special day for us.Β It's our 20th Wedding Anniversary π
On 20th May 2006 at 4pm we tied the knot in the Huntly Castle Hotel π°π€΅
Oh my goodness, such a lot has happened since then; so many stories, events, happy memories and sadness too - we could write a book about our adventures π
20 years seems like so long ago and like yesterday at the same time.Β Thank you for being a part of our story π₯°

The completely fabulous Pluscarden Abbey is our next videoβͺοΈ
I've just finished editing it and am waiting for my assistant to scrutinise it for mistakes before I export and upload itπ©βπ»
Exploring the history of this place was fascinating and it truly is beautiful. It's been on our bucket list for years and it didn't disappointπΈ
Here's an interesting fact for you: Pluscarden Abbey is the only medieval church in Britain still used for its original monastic purposeπ
