Become a better player with Jazzduets - Dive into a huge library of jazz classes, from beginner to advanced, meticulously crafted to educate, inspire, and entertain.
Time flies! It's hard to believe it's been nearly five years since I published the Thesaurus of Minor Triad Pairs. From the beginning, I knew I wanted to create a Major Triad Pairs version — but life happens...
More importantly, I needed time to develop the ideas and figure out the best way to present them. That's why I'm thrilled to finally announce that the Encyclopedia of Triad Pair Combinations will be released on April 1st, 2025.
This new online course includes: ✅ Major, dominant, minor, and minor 7b5 triad pair exercises in all 12 keys — 2,460 exercises in total ✅ 50+ video tutorials and demonstrations ✅ 10 triad pair solos over classic jazz progressions (with Soundslice versions for best practice experience) ✅ Loads more!
If you're looking for a resource to deepen your harmonic understanding, strengthen your technique, and expand your improv toolbox I think I this could be of interest

super excited about the new series where I make a master class on Jazz standards. First one is Donna Lee this weekend. Can you help? What colour do you prefer for the cover? Or you don´t care?
QUESTION? Why don´t Jazz players use triplets more in their solos? I often have thought that some Jazz players kind of over use 8th notes. Strings and strings of 8th notes. One way to break potential monotony is add some silence, some space. Another way is throw in some triplets. What do you think? Are triplets under used?
