Holy Moly! I'm super excited about the next PowerEQ update! In the process of trying to solve a huge FCP bug, I stumbled on a new path that not only fix that but it opens up the plugin for DaVinci Resolve and Premiere Pro! (still Mac Only, but a windows version is also now possible!) 

NOT ONLY THAT!! Now the plugin is faster, more stable, and I can add in a realtime frequency Spectrum and Meters! Can't wait to share this with you all. It's going to a free update to everyone that purchased the plugin, and there will still be a 7 day free trail. FYI, this will be a whole new plugin, (it has to be, but the code is much cleaner) so any projects that you have used with the current plugin won't be affected.  

Thank you so much for the support and all the feedback, it's what is making this plugin and app that much better!

There's noise cleanup for rooms that weren't built for recording, and if you used a couple different mics it can match them so things don't jump around.

Final Cut Pro "Must-Haves" for 2026: 
✅ Audio: Role-based buses, auto-EQ (Adobe Podcast style), and native ducking. 
✅ Editing: Text-based editing (delete text = delete video) and "Gling-style" silence removal. 
✅ UI: A modern keyframe editor that doesn't feel like 2011. 
✅ Content: A "Premium Hub" that actually rivals paid stock sites, not just iMovie titles.

What is the ONE feature Apple must add this year to justify the "Creator Studio" subscription?

I’m choosing to support the new Apple Creator Studio because I want the Pro Apps team to have the resources to actually INNOVATE again. But let’s be real: for $129/year, Apple needs to over-deliver. If they don't, this is the beginning of the end for FCP.
