My name is Diana and I am a person who needed peace, so I built this sanctuary. You are welcome to sit in it with me.

We live in a world that is loud, saturated, and constantly demanding our attention. We are told that the answers to our anxiety lie in the next self-help book, the next productivity app, or the next "expert" strategy.

I’m quitting the noise. This is a journal of a journey back to simplicity. I don’t have a 10-step plan to fix your life—I am simply documenting what happens when we stop the search and start looking within.

Happy Mindful Monday! This week, we're exploring the deep connection between Grounding and Gratitude—our powerful, two-step method for quieting the mind.

Anxiety keeps us feeling small and isolated, trapped in our own heads. But when we intentionally anchor ourselves in the present moment, we open the door to a feeling of connection—a connection to the world around us, and to God/Source/Spirit that is holding us.

The Practice: Take a deep breath (grounding), then look around and name one thing you can be truly thankful for right now (gratitude). That small act immediately shifts your perspective from self-centered worry to expansive awareness.

This week, let your gratitude be your grounding wire.
