Welcome to Studio L7, Tech ASMR and KEWL.

Studio L7 is an ASMR radio station, not a performance and not a “show.” This channel is built around real sound, real gear, and real moments set and captured as they happen. No acting. No hype. No fast cuts. The goal isn’t to entertain you; it’s to set the standard for sound-first ASMR.

Most programming focuses on creator tools, natural sounds of gear, and studio workflows without performance.
Fridays are KEWL.
KEWL is late-night radio-style ASMR with minimal voice, long pauses, subtle station IDs, and carefully layered sound beds designed for sleep, focus, and decompression. It’s not here to perform. It’s here to hold space.
What you’ll hear:
• Binaural soundscapes for sleep and focus
• Tech ASMR from real gear and real workflows
• KEWL Fridays-late-night ASMR radio
• Live hangouts Sundays at 9:00 PM

If you’re looking for calm, consistency, and sound you can trust, you’ve tuned in.

Studio L7 ASMR

The Sunday night hangout.

We’ll be live at 9:00 PM, talking about where KEWL is headed, including KEWL Ride, KEWL Radio being streamed, and some random After Dark streams that may show up along the way.

The idea is to keep building this into a quiet late-night space for sound, sleep, background listening, and hanging out without making everything feel overproduced. KEWL Ride brings the road sounds, KEWL Radio keeps the station feeling alive, and After Dark gives us those slower, more relaxed late-night moments.

Come hang out, ask questions, listen in, or just leave it on while you wind down for the night.

I have to say, I really enjoy making the After Dark content.

There is something about that late-night, lights-down, quiet-room feel that just works for me. It feels a little more relaxed, a little more off-the-cuff, and honestly, a little more like hanging out after the main show when the room gets quieter and the sounds get better.

So expect more After Dark as we go.

It might pop up on a Wednesday. It might show up on a Saturday. It might sneak in somewhere random when the studio feels right.

No big fancy announcement machine. just more late-night sounds, quiet talk, behind-the-scenes moments, and whatever sound experiment decides to show up.

Thanks for being here for it.
The night shift is getting interesting.

Alright, alright, alright.

Alright, alright, alright

I need your opinion on something before I start sending this out.

I’m working on a possible new KEWL Radio segment where I spotlight other ASMR creators near the end of some episodes. The idea is to make KEWL a little discovery hub, a place where we can find great sounds, talk about why they work, and send people back to the original artist.

Before I use anyone’s sound, I want to ask permission the right way.

Here’s the message I’m thinking about sending to creators:

Hi [Artist Name],

My name is Bigbobby, and I run Studio L7 ASMR / KEWL Radio, a late-night radio-style ASMR show focused on sound for sleep, relaxation, and discovering great ASMR artists.

I found your video, [Video Title], and I really like it. The sound in that one has the kind of relaxing texture I think my audience would enjoy, and I’d love to feature a short audio-only section from that specific video in an upcoming KEWL segment.

The segment would work like this: I would play a short 2–3 minute audio-only portion from [Video Title] while I add commentary, explain why I picked it, and tell viewers where to find the full video. I would credit you by name, mention your channel and video during the show, put your link in the description, and point viewers to the card/link so they can go watch the full video on your channel.

I would not use your video footage, only a short audio sample, and the purpose would be discovery, commentary, and sending viewers back to you.

Would you be okay with me featuring that specific video in the segment?

Thanks,
Bigbobby

What do you think?

Does this sound respectful and clear?

Would you change anything before I send it to other creators?

I want to do this the right way and make sure KEWL supports other ASMR artists, not just talks about them.

🚨 SNL HANGOUT TONIGHT — 9:00 PM 🚨

Tonight we’re doing what we do best… hanging out in the studio, talking gear, sound, whatever weird thing I’ve been testing this week, and probably making some noise along the way. 😄

No script. No polished TV production. Just the late-night studio hangout where we talk shop, ASMR, gear, business, sound experiments, and whatever the chat decides we’re doing.

I’ll probably be fiddling with buttons, adjusting lights, pretending I know exactly what I’m doing, and saying “alright, alright, alright” at least once. Maybe twice.

If you need something chill in the background, want to talk gear, or just want to hang with the Night Shift crew, pull up a chair.

📻 SNL HANGOUT
🕘 Tonight at 9:00 PM Pacific

Bring coffee. Or snacks. Or that one question you’ve been meaning to ask.

See you tonight.p

I had to make a little change in the studio.

The camera I was using for the KEWL livestream was starting to have some overheating issues, so I started looking around for a better option for long livestreams. While I was researching, I came across the Hollyland VenusLiv Air and decided to do some testing with it.

After working with it for a bit and learning some of its little quirks, I realized it was actually giving me the dark, moody, slightly edgy look I’ve been wanting for KEWL, and honestly, it was getting me there a little easier than my Sony setup.

So I’ve switched the live stream camera over to the VenusLiv Air.

Sometimes you change a piece of gear to fix a problem, and it ends up helping the whole look of the show. That’s pretty much what happened here.

KEWL is still KEWL… just maybe a little moodier now.

Alright, alright, alright.

Studio L7 ASMR

Alright, alright, alright.

Sunday Night Hangout is getting a little upgrade.

KEWL Radio is now running 24/7, which is awesome, but I noticed when I “break into” the live stream, it doesn’t quite hit the same way as a regular Sunday night live. So next Sunday, we’re doing both.

I’ll be streaming into the KEWL 24/7 livestream like I’m taking over the radio station signal, but I’ll also be starting a separate Sunday Night Hangout livestream right here on YouTube, so everybody gets the notification, the real chat room, the proper live event, and the full Bigbobby experience.

So if you’re hanging out in the 24/7 KEWL stream, you’ll hear me break in.

But if you want to chat, say hey, and be part of the actual Sunday Night Hangout, jump over to the separate live feed when it pops up.

Same strange little studio.
Same late-night radio vibes.
It's probably the same me adjusting something I should have adjusted before going live.

Sunday at 9:00 PM.

KEWL Radio stays on.
Sunday Night Hangout takes over.

Alright, alright, alright. This should be KEWL.

Behind the Sound Monday Video, we’re doing something dangerously official…

I’m making the bumpers and stingers for KEWL Radio.

Yep. The little station IDs. The quick “you’re listening to KEWL” moments. The tiny audio glue that makes the live stream feel less like a random playlist and more like a real late-night radio station being operated by one slightly tired guy surrounded by microphones, cables, and sound-making objects.

We’ll talk about what bumpers and stingers are, why they matter, how I’m recording them, and how to keep them soft enough for ASMR without accidentally sounding like a monster truck commercial.

The video drops Monday at 9:00 PM

So come hang out for Behind the Sound Monday and watch me build the little sounds between the sounds.

Alright, alright, alright. KEWL is getting official.

Studio L7 ASMR

Alright, alright, alright…

This Sunday Night Hangout is happening 5/17/2026, but here’s the KEWL part:

You’ll need to go to the livestream, because KEWL Radio will already be rolling, doing its 24/7 thing like the little late-night radio station that somehow got loose on the internet.

Then at 9:00 PM West Coast time, I’ll break into the stream like a very calm emergency broadcast from the whisper room.

We’ll hang out, talk about what’s going on with the channel, the gear, the sounds, the experiments, the questionable decisions, and whatever else drifts across the studio desk. It’ll be relaxed, low-key, and probably slightly ridiculous, which is pretty much the official Studio L7 ASMR business model at this point.

So don’t look for a separate show. Just jump into the live stream and hang around.

Bring coffee, headphones, and the ability to tolerate me adjusting things on camera like I’m launching a moon mission.
