The Research Grants Program Office (RGPO) at the UC Office of the President houses four grant-making programs- the California Breast Cancer Research Program (CBCRP), California HIV/AIDS Research Program (CHRP), Tobacco Related Diseases Research Program (TRDRP) and University of California Research Initiatives (UCRI). Over the past four years, RGPO programs have awarded over $240 million in grants to researchers at UC campuses, our national laboratories, and other institutions throughout California.
