Tech Giant "FOXCONN" has proposed a semiconductor park in the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority area, in about 48 acres in Sector 28, E-01of the YEIDA zone, marking Uttar Pradesh's push to build its first semiconductor manufacturing hub.

The estimated cost is said to be about 4,000 crore INR.
Which will generate nearly 3,000 jobs in Uttar Pradesh.

Rajasthan is building a huge and world class refinery with the whopping cost of nearly 80,000 crore INR ( or 8.77 Billion $ ) at Pachpadra in Balotra District.
It is owned by HPCL Rajasthan Refinery Limited, a joint venture between Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited and the Government of Rajasthan. This refinery will be connected with Jamnagar Refinery and Bathinda Refinery through Amritsar Jamnagar Expressway.
The government will set up petrochemicals hub near the refinery. High level infrastructure for petroleum, chemicals and petrochemicals has begun to develop near the refinery. An area of 100 sq km has been identified near the refinery to build a processing unit and large industries have started.
The project has a planned capacity of 9 million tonnes per year of refining capacity and 2 million tonne per year of petrochemical complex capacity. It will be spread across 4,400.4 acres (1,780.8 ha) of land.
This will define India's power in building such unique and only of its kind infra in world.

Each college will act as a "Centre of Excellence" for a specific sport, offering focused, high quality training based on the region's natural strengths.
Along with coaching, these colleges will also provide residential facilities, specialized diet plans and access to physiotherapists creating a professional environment for young athletes.
This initiative aims to turn Uttar Pradesh into a major hub of sporting talent by building smart and world class training systems at the grassroots level.
It is the part of a broader strategy aligned with the state's ambitions for the 2030 commonwealth games and 2036 olympics ( more chances to be held in India ).
The initial cost of Rs 170 crore+ has been allocated and the total cost of this project is estimated to be around 1000 - 1500 crores INR.

India achieved a major milestone on April 6, 2026, as the 500 MWe indigenous Prototype Fast Breeder Reactor (PFBR) in Kalpakkam, Tamil Nadu, attained first criticality. Operated by BHAVINI, this reactor advances India's three-stage nuclear program, specifically targeting the use of plutonium and eventually thorium for fuel, reducing reliance on uranium.

With this achievement, India has officially entered the second stage of its three-stage nuclear power programme, a vision first conceived by Dr. Homi Jehangir Bhabha, the architect of India's nuclear programme. The milestone carries substantial global significance. Once fully operational, India will become only the second country in the world after Russia to operate a commercial fast breeder reactor.

The project also reflects the dedication of significant number of scientists, engineers, technicians and industry partners who have contributed to the design, fabrication and construction of the reactor using predominantly indigenous technologies and components. Their efforts highlight the nation’s growing capability in advanced nuclear engineering and reinforce India’s commitment to technological self-reliance complying with Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The estimated total cost on this project is said to be around 4.7 billion dollars ( 22,462 crore INR ).
