It is very difficult to choose the right one…. VERY difficult… unless you follow some rules)) And yes, it is really necessary to have a wide selection of spoons when fish for rainbows on the lake. Their mood can rapidly change during 15-30 minutes: weather conditions, insect hatch, fishing pressure…. All these things you have to keep in mind when suddenly they stop biting. The advantages of my favorite Jackall Timon spoons will be explained in the next videos and posts, so stay tuned and tight lines!

🎣 Carpfishing vs Lure Fishing vs Fly Fishing — What’s the Difference? 🐟
If you’ve ever wondered which fishing style fits you best, here’s a quick breakdown 👇
🔥 Carpfishing – all about patience, precision, and strategy. You set up your rods, prepare the perfect bait, and wait. It’s a calm, meditative experience — ideal for anglers who enjoy long sessions by the water and mastering feeding tactics.
⚡ Lure Fishing – fast, active, and exciting! You’re constantly moving, casting, and experimenting with different lures to trigger predatory strikes. It’s perfect for those who love action, adrenaline, and exploring new spots.
🪶 Fly Fishing – this is where fishing turns into art.
You don’t just cast a line — you paint it across the air. You don’t just catch fish — you connect with nature on a deeper level. Every cast, every drift, and every rise on the surface tells a story.
Fly fishing teaches rhythm, patience, and balance. It’s the most direct dialogue between the angler and the fish — no gadgets, no heavy tackle, just pure skill, instinct, and grace.
For me, fly fishing isn’t just about catching fish — it’s about feeling alive in the rhythm of water, wind, and light. 🌊✨
Which style speaks to you most? Let me know in the comments 👇

3 basic rules how to catch (big) pike
1. Cast your lure/bait close to obstacles such as old trees, reeds or weeds. Pike always seek for hideout or cover to attack small fish with one short and aggressive move.
2. Choose a big bait for big pike, especially in the autumn. Big fish won’t lose its energy for a tiny prey. Retrieve slowly and occasionally stop or twitch.
3. Discover even tiny streams and channels and better start pike fishing from “readable” waters such as rivers or small lakes. Large waters require additional equipment: boat, sonar etc..
