Just watched the Australian film Ned Kelly from 1970, a movie about the famous Australian outlaw albeit a romanticized adaptation to be sure. I personally thought it was OK. I don’t think it’s the best retelling of historical events or anything, but it wasn’t bad. Plus you have Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones playing Ned Kelly to mix results though. I’m glad I saw it. Is it a film? I would watch over and over again probably not but it’s definitely in every now and again type of movie.

Went and saw Riff Raff the other night and honestly wasn’t worth seeing while my dad just didn’t like it. It just left me baffled it was marketed as a comedy but when after seeing it, it is literally the most confused sloppy film that comes off more like a drama than anything else. I mean, part of the way they were trying to tell the story reminded me of like Tarantino style, but was executed extremely poorly. I can rant on about what’s wrong with the film, but I’ll give you some key points instead.

1. Has way too singular of a plot for an hour and 43 minutes.

2. characters are either annoying or bland

3. Because it has too singular of a plot for the runtime it takes too long to get anywhere in the plot because they have to pat out the runtime with scene after scene of just characters rambling

4. Humor comprises, mainly of Juvenile level sexual and toilet humor.

5. Almost completely unfunny.

6. Ending was just WTF.

7. Bill Murray is completely boring in this movie.

8. Way too long.

Been watching Dexter original sin so far so good i’m probably not the first to say Patrick Gibson who plays young Dexter looks like a creepy Tom Holland. I can nitpick if you really want me to personally Michael C Hall’s Voice is starting to show its age a little bit meaning that emotionless voice doesn’t sound nearly as natural as it used to. Also, the actor that plays Harry looks way too different from the original actor, but then again the original actor is 71 years old now probably wasn’t worth using technology or make up to make him look younger. But overall pretty solid prequel although this isn’t the original prequel, there was a web series called Dexter early cuts that showtime put out I assume on their website back in the day it was like a motion comic, which was pretty solid as well.

Just finished watching the movie Fear (1996) and no, I did not react to it sorry about that. It was overall a good flick. I’d give it a solid 8/10
