South African political news, straight from someone who reads the actual reports.
I'm The Political Chick — and I cover the stories South Africa needs to know, not the ones it's being fed.
Each week I dig into the audits, budgets, and source documents behind the headlines and give you the angle mainstream media skips — without the outrage, without the spin, with a strong opinion and the data to back it up.
If you're tired of press releases dressed up as news, you're in the right place.

What are your thoughts on the leader of March and March, Jacinta Ngobese-Zuma?
There are two news items of interest to me - her links to Zuma (AmaBhugane had a good article looking into this), and the other more juicy news item is that the rollout of March and March was a strategic play from the West.
The report states "How did she (Jacinta) get from there (regional radio host with no other qualifications) to being a full-time ‘activist’ leading an organisation threatening the stability of the wealthiest country on the African continent,..."
The article goes on to say "in August 2023 Jacinta Ngobese was selected by the US Embassy to participate in the International Visitor Leadership Programme (IVLP). In September she jetted off to Washington to begin the programme."
And as if that wasn't enough, Jacinta was on a podcast right before the March and March event, stating that her organisation was never responsible for declaring the 30 June deadline.
Interesting, wouldn't you agree? If you'd like me to create a video about this, drop a comment, share your thoughts!

Just more evidence that race classification and allocating funds to previously disadvantaged groups is not a success in South Africa. Our current BBBEE legislation must be relooked.
How is this possible?

News24 have previously shown us how low they'll stoop to make the ANC look good. When you follow the money, it's easier to see why.
Watch this video and see me expose the financial control the ANC holds over News24, via Naspers: https://youtu.be/mYraNrvuZBU
Then let's talk about a Daily Maverick video I found on X. They have exoised how News skewed their reporting while a sister company tried to secure government tenders and did not disclose it: https://youtu.be/_jwlxHcty3I
Almost weekend! Hang in there 😆
