My name is Josh Snodgrass and I am a Christian guitarist. In 2013 my wife and I (with our 2 little boys) sold nearly everything we had and launched a great adventure of faith. We began touring the United States serving in primarily small, rural churches. We felt our calling was to share the Gospel with unbelievers and to encourage Christians in their faith. Since that time, I have done over 1000 concerts and church services but more importantly, I've seen people get saved by God's grace, through faith in Jesus Christ.
Over the last 6 years, God has grown my YouTube channel as people from around the world discover my music and use it for their Bible study and prayer times, as background for their workdays and churches use it in their services for offering and communion. Good news friends! Spotify has determined that I'm a real person. I told my wife Sarah the good news and she said, "Well I'm way ahead of them, I've known you were human for years!". Ha, ha... I am thankful that this worked out and that they have made a way to tell whether you are listening to a human artist or some AI generated music. Hi Friends, Some of you know that I had been having trouble releasing music recently. The music world is kind of in turmoil right now due to some court cases about AI generative music. The music distributors are trying to filter that stuff out and somehow I got caught in the net. My music is as human as it comes, I mean I don't even use a click track let alone AI, it's just me playing my guitar. I think they're still trying to improve their filtering systems so hopefully these problems will decrease. I'm thankful because today I got the word that my latest release made it through and will be out in a few weeks. I'll keep you posted. It seems like it's one thing after another lately with my music ministry, but I just wanted to let you all know that I am recording music. -Getting it to you on the various outlets is a bit of a challenge as of late. Hi Friends, I have been working towards a new instrumental worship album for the last 5 months or so. I have nearly enough new recordings but then I decided to go back through one of my external hard drives to see if there's anything I've recorded but not released. I found a lot of songs! I had put them in some YouTube videos a few years ago but never put them out on albums so they haven't been on the streaming services or iTunes. I think I just forgot about them when the tree fell on our house and I had to take 8 months off from music to rebuild our home. Whatever the case, I'm thankful to have found them and they will start showing up in my YouTube videos and releases in other places!
