GRATITUDE to Customers will open doors for you.

Doing Business for over 10 years now has taught me that every customer wants to be appreciated. Even the toughest customers😁

If you do business with me you will at least hear Thank you once, twice or even more.

"Thank you for your payment and Thank you for your patronage"

Sometimes I would call to personally say thank you.

In fact a new phrase I learnt to use that works wonders is "Alert received with maximum gratitude' in fact some customers will respond that you have them for life. 😁

Try using this and see the wonders for yourself.

Please DON'T just use " Tnx' "Thanks", it can put off some customers.

Say Thank you at least.

You have to be intentional when thanking your customers because for them to choose you above the numerous competition is amazing.

Let me know other words you use that works for you. Mine is "Alert received with maximum gratitude". This one always puts them in awe. 😁😁😁😁.

Let me know what you say in the comment section.

I'm rooting for your success🥰

YOU ARE ENOUGH

Good Morning Friends,

I'm currently in a UK certified Mini-MBA program sponsored by Flourish Africa owned by Dr Folorunso Alakija, Top Africa's wealthiest woman and I thought to share one of the things I learned in a TED Talk.

"You are Enough, You are more than enough" You have to be fully committed to believing, and valuing yourself. Rise up to say Enough is Enough to Business as usual, Enough is Enough to playing small.
We have to accept generosity over scarcity, collaboration rather than competition, empowerment rather than power over. "

You are Enough, More than Enough
I hope this sinks.
Rise up and chase that dream it's not too late.
I hope this inspires you today.

Thank you Dr Folorunso Alakija and the Flourish Africa team for impacting the world.

If you would want to hear more of my learnings, type YES in the comment section 😍

I'm rooting for your success🥰

How to Start a Profitable Chin Chin Business in Nigeria (Even From Your Kitchen)

Many people think you need millions of naira to start a food business. The truth is, you can start a profitable chin chin business with the equipment you already have at home.

Here's how:
• Learn a recipe that customers will love and keep buying.

• Use quality ingredients. Cheap ingredients often produce poor-quality chin chin that customers won't come back for.

• Price your product correctly. Don't guess your prices, calculate your costs and make a profit on every pack.

• Invest in attractive packaging. People buy with their eyes first. A premium-looking package can help you sell faster and charge more.

• Register your business and work towards getting the necessary certifications as you grow. This builds trust with customers and opens doors to supermarkets and bigger markets.

• Market consistently. Post videos of your production process, customer reviews, and your finished products regularly. People can't buy what they don't know exists.

Remember, every successful food brand you admire today started with just one customer.
The most important step is to start.

The Biggest Mistake Food Business Owners Are Making Right Now.

I often hear the same complaint from some food business owners:

"Sales are coming in, but I don't know where the money is going."

There is a story of a food vendor who was excited because customers kept buying her meals. She believed business was booming.

One day, she decided to recalculate the cost of producing just one portion of her food.

The result shocked her.

The ingredients she used had increased so much in price that she was losing money on every plate she sold. She had only increased her selling price by a small amount because she was afraid customers would stop buying.

She wasn't making a profit.

She was working harder, selling more, and slowly eating into her capital.

Sadly, this is the reality for many food business owners today.

The prices of ingredients are increasing; Rice, chicken, vegetables, spices, dairy products, packaging materials, cooking gas, transportation, and even electricity costs have all gone up.

If you're still using the same prices you calculated months ago, you're most likely giving away your profit without realizing it.

Proper food costing helps you:

- Know your true cost of production.
- Set profitable selling prices.
- Protect your business from rising costs.
- Make better business decisions.
- Build a sustainable business instead of just staying busy.

Remember, customers don't pay your suppliers. You do.

Your business deserves to make a profit.

Don't guess your prices.
Don't copy your competitors.
Cost every product properly.

Because in today's economy, businesses that know their numbers will always have a better chance of surviving and growing.

Food Business Owners: Rising Ingredient Costs Are Quietly Eating Into Your Profit

Good morning Friends,

If you run a food business especially zobo drink business this is for you.

This year alone, the price of zobo leaves has increased from ₦26,000 to ₦46,000 for a bag.

Ginger, which we used to buy for about ₦20,000 per bucket, now sells for as much as ₦42,000.

Yet many food business owners are still selling at old prices.

This is exactly why accurate food costing and pricing is not optional, it is a mandatory skill.

When you don't account for inflation and rising ingredient costs, one of three things happens:

• You run at a loss
• You make little or no profit
• You keep increasing your food prices every Eke market day.

A profitable food business doesn't guess prices. It calculates them.

If you haven't reviewed your prices recently, this is your sign to do so.

And if you're tired of guessing your prices and want to learn how to cost and price your food products professionally, my Ultimate Food Costing & Pricing Course is designed for food entrepreneurs who want to increase profit, price confidently, and build a sustainable business.

STOP GUESSING YOUR PRICES!

One of the factors that affect your food business is poor pricing.

Many food business owners set prices based on what competitors are charging, what customers can afford, or simply what "feels right." Unfortunately, that approach often leads to losses, cash flow problems, and burnout.

Here are 5 reasons why pricing your products correctly matters:

1. It Protects Your Profit
Sales do not automatically mean profit. Proper pricing ensures you cover your costs and still make money from every sale.

2. It Covers Rising Costs
Ingredients, packaging, transportation, and utilities keep increasing. If your prices are not calculated properly, your profit disappears whenever costs rise.

3. It Supports Business Growth
You need profit to buy equipment, hire staff, improve production, and expand your business.

4. It Prevents Undervaluing Your Work
Your time, skill, experience, and effort have value. Pricing too low sends the wrong message about the quality of your products.

5. It Helps You Make Better Business Decisions
When you know your actual costs and profit margins, you can confidently offer discounts, promotions, and wholesale prices without hurting your business.

Remember: The goal is not to have the cheapest product in the market. The goal is to have a sustainable business that serves customers and remains profitable.

Before setting your next price, ask yourself:
"Have I calculated all my costs and included a profit margin?"

HAPPY NEW WEEK, FOOD BUSINESS OWNERS!

This week, remember that success in the food business is not just about cooking great food it's about managing a great business.

As you begin the week, ask yourself:

• Are you tracking your food costs?
• Are you pricing for profit, not just sales?
• Are you marketing your products consistently?
• Are you maintaining quality and consistency in production?
• Are you serving your customers in a way that keeps them coming back?

Every successful food brand you admire today started with small daily actions done consistently over time.

This week, focus on improving one thing in your business. It could be your pricing, customer service, packaging, production process, or marketing. Small improvements create big results.

Don't just aim to be busy, aim to be profitable.
May this week bring you more orders, satisfied customers, profitable sales, and new opportunities to grow your food business.
Happy New Week!

"The food businesses that thrive are not always the ones with the best products, but the ones that combine great products with great business practices."
