The Bolt Breakers

We just picked up something special. 🔧

An airport fuel truck that hasn’t moved in 22 years.

Seized engine. Dead hydraulics. Everyone said scrap it.

We said no.

What was once a forgotten, weather-beaten double-decker bus is now looking better than it did when it first left the factory.

Every restoration starts with a challenge, but this one pushed the limits. Seeing decades of neglect disappear and a classic vehicle return to its former glory is exactly why I love these projects.

The Bolt Breakers

From Forgotten Relic to Road-Ready Beast! 🚚✨

Have you ever seen something left for dead in the forest and instantly seen its potential? 🌲🔍

That’s exactly what happened when we stumbled upon this 2009 Mercedes-Benz Actros. Left to rot in the mud and elements, it was a total disaster—but we knew it had a story left to tell.

We took on the challenge, and it wasn't easy! From deep cleaning and precision engine rebuilding to weeks of welding, sandblasting, and a fresh coat of paint, we poured everything into bringing this machine back to life. 🛠️🦾

Check out the transformation in the video! It’s not just restored; it’s reborn and ready to get back to work. 🏗️💨

The Bolt Breakers

She’s finally alive! 🏍️💨 Did you see the transformation?

I just posted a new Short of the full restoration journey of my grandfather’s 1970s vintage cherry-red motorcycle.

After decades of sitting forgotten in a dusty, dark barn, it was barely more than a frame and a pile of rust. Honestly, there were moments during this build where I wasn't sure if it was ever going to see the road again. But there was no way I was going to let this piece of family history end up in a scrapyard.

If you haven't seen the transformation yet, click below and check it out!

I’m curious—what was your favorite part of the build?

The deep cleaning of the engine?

The custom cherry-red paint job?

Hearing that classic engine start up for the first time?

The Bolt Breakers

The iconic 1960s Amphicar 770 was one of the rarest vehicles ever built — a real car that could also operate as a boat. Built in West Germany during the 1960s, the Amphicar became famous for its ability to drive directly into the water and continue floating using twin rear propellers. 🌊🚗

Watch Here 👉 https://youtu.be/n_3lee--QaA?si=ebcrp...

The “770” name came from its performance: roughly 70 mph on land and 7 knots on water. Powered by a Triumph engine, this amphibious vehicle combined automotive engineering with marine design, making it one of the most unusual classic cars in history.

Less than 4,000 Amphicars were ever produced, and many disappeared over the years due to rust, flooding, and neglect. That’s why finding an abandoned Amphicar 770 today is extremely rare — especially one needing a full restoration.

Watching this forgotten amphibious car slowly return to life has been incredible. From heavy rust damage to rebuilding vintage mechanical parts, every step shows why the Amphicar remains one of the most fascinating collector cars ever created.
