Photographer and Photoshop junkie, from the frozen Canadian prairies. Mostly hiding in studios to stay warm in winter or avoid being devoured by moose sized mosquitoes in summer. Occasionally she does find herself outdoors, but it is usually brief or in the quest of making new compositing backdrop material.
This adventure started way back in 1997, and has taken her from rural life to around the world.

My shibari mermaids have been going viral on the internet again so I thought I’d share a brief evolution of the project :) from 2018 to present.
The tail and everything is real - in camera. This was all made before AI art existed. The tail is hand made by the model. Silicone, and very heavy.
No compositing, all just straight shibari work, brute strength and crazy amount of masochism.
Do not try this at home, kids. It’s crazy unsafe and my team is very talented and experienced 💖

I did a casting call for bodies to be photographed lewd. Didn’t care what the shape or size of the body was. Just had to be alive and consenting age.
I’ve officially shot all the people for it. I’m putting the layers together today. What’s crazy is many of them have either never been photographed lewd or some not even photographed before.
I’ve spent a lot of years listening, learning, making corrections to make safe spaces for those who put their trust in me when they step in front of my lens.
This kind of comment is the biggest compliment I can get.
Making cool images is fun, but creating a welcoming, safe place is the ultimate goal. The work comes second. 💖
