People compare it to Kyoto, and I totally get why - it's got the traditional Japanese town vibes, bamboo gardens -- but also a beach haha! It's a perfect day trip from Tokyo ^-^

I know it might be strange to drop a video so cheerful after my last video haha - but I feel like this video was a good reminder of the types of things I really want share with the world - exploring cool places, capturing the beauty of the world, and hopefully some smiles and laughter haha

Hi friends~ this week's vlog is a little bit different than usual - I wanted to chat a bit about what it's really been like chasing my dreams in Japan

I tend to focus most of my videos on the highlights, because i want to make videos that make people smile and laugh haha. Those are the videos that I tend to like making (and watching) the most as a creator

But there's also a BIG other part of my life that involves... spending time working to try to make those dreams a reality.
And while I'm SUPER grateful I even have the opportunity to try and chase them in the first place -

It turns out that when you care about something a lot (ahem, your dreams) it's also quite easy to feel sad when things don't go as you imagined...

So i made this video to reflect the other part of my life's reality as well

I know the video is quite different from usual, but I'm still quite proud of it, and I hope you enjoy watching it
And if you’ve ever had a dream of your own, I hope this makes you feel a little less alone 🩵

Honestly this was one of the most fun day trips I've ever had!!
There's so many things to do and see - from a japanese monkey park, to visiting some beautiful shrines and temples, a GORGEOUS view of Mt Fuji at the top, tons of hiking trails, and even an onsen!!

If you like nature and you're visiting Tokyo, I'd highly recommend it!
