Reasons We Serve: Police Careers & Experiences
One of the primary reasons for starting the channel, Reasons We Serve, is to explore why individuals pursue careers in law enforcement. While we have primarily focused on the United States, in episode 67, we interviewed an Irish Detective discussing "Why Ireland's Approach to Policing is Completely Different."
In today's episode, we expand this question beyond the U.S. by featuring a Canadian police officer. Next week, we will highlight an Italian police officer.
This raises an interesting question: do people in other countries join law enforcement for the same reasons as those in the U.S.?
Feel free to share your thoughts.

Reasons We Serve: Police Careers & Experiences
Episode 158 is now available. While I typically avoid political discussions on this channel, this episode features an important interview with Pierce County Sheriff Keith Swank. The conversation sheds light on how a one-party state like Washington is attempting to alter the law enforcement landscape.
Traditionally, a sheriff can only be removed through the recall process or by being voted out. However, Senate Bill 5974 introduces a workaround that permits an unelected board to decertify and remove a sitting sheriff.
Tune in to hear more about this significant topic, as well as some of the anti-gun laws Washington has either passed or is trying to pass.

I try to stay away from politics on this channel as much as possible. With that being said, tune in tomorrow to find out how a one-party state like Washington is trying to change the face of law enforcement. If you want to do your homework prior to watching, look up Senate Bill 5974. The interview tomorrow is with a duly elected sheriff who faces removal not from being recalled or voted out of office, but from a state legislature that is changing how it deals with sheriffs who don't share its values and who believe everyone should think the way they do.

Reasons We Serve: Police Careers & Experiences
Hello everyone. I have a bunch of really good interviews coming up. However, I moved this Sunday's interview to the top because the content is extremely important to all law enforcement across the United States. This episode is really a call to arms and to raise the alarm of what is happening in parts of this country. If you support law enforcement, please tune in and, most importantly, watch, share, subscribe, and use the "promote" button.

What happens when you're part of the team when an officer is killed in the line of duty, and it leaves a devastating void? In this powerful interview, our guest opens up about losing two fellow officers on the job, the emotional toll it takes on the team, and the challenges of moving forward.
From the immediate chaos of the incidents to the long-term impact on mental health, camaraderie, and the job itself — this is a raw, honest conversation you won't hear anywhere else.
