Hey everyone... 🌧️💔

We have some really tough news to share. We were so incredibly excited to bring you all along for Day 2 of Anime North, but the weather has made it impossible.

Due to the heavy rain and high winds, it has become unsafe and extremely difficult to travel to the venues. On top of that, the combination of the weather and the intense crowds has made our mobile connection almost non-existent, making it impossible to stream the quality you deserve.

This was a heartbreaking decision to make, as we were looking forward to this all week. Please know we are doing our best to navigate the situation. We aren't sure yet if we will be able to go live later this evening, but we will keep you updated here as soon as we know more.

Thank you all for your endless support and for sticking by us, even when the weather doesn't cooperate. Stay dry and safe out there! 💙

Unfortunately while we were trying to live stream, we experienced constant network interrupts, resulting in jittery, blurry and cut out footage. Due to this we have decided to no longer live stream Otakuthon 2024 this weekend and focus on capturing as much cosplay and convention footage as we can. We hope you can understand, as we are deeply sadden by having to make this announcement. We will be working making sure we can provide a quality and consistent experience next time.
