After three critically acclaimed albums, progressive metal band AEONS returns with the band’s most challenging and accomplished recording yet; The single-track, 23 minute-long monster that is “6EQUJ5”.

The full release is now available on audio CD, digital music streaming platforms and with a full length lyric video found on YouTube through the #linkinbio

The band known for their complex, heavy-prog, laden with brutal grooves and haunting atmospheric melodies takes bold new steps with this release. This EP showcasing everything the band is known for, but also expanding that very notion along the way.

“AEONS are very proud to release our most ambitious project yet – a a whole EP of one epic track dedicated to a single proposition : “What if we are not alone in this endless emptiness? ” We wanted to pursue a fresh approach to this philosophy and look at what that might mean for our cultures, our beliefs, our sense of self and ultimately our place in the universe. We wanted to explore as many musical genres as possible to answer this question, each with their own atmosphere to tell a story of our journey of discovery, and start a commentary on who we are, what we can achieve together and how with a little common ground we can become more than we ever were.“

💥 Apeiron Bound releases song & video for Astral Reflection – Rebirth! 💥

A sometimes violent, sometimes tranquil ebb and flow of musical contrasts. That is how you could describe the song “Astral Reflection: Rebirth” by Apeiron Bound in all of its multifaceted 8,5 minutes of runtime.

This re-imagining of the song of the same name of their debut-album "Multiplicity", is performed by the band’s new lineup. Adding nuances and depth that the original song was hinting at, but not quite showcased like this yet.

Produced and mixed by Jack Kosto (Who also played a guitar solo on this track), this song showcases the direction the band is moving in with the upcoming new material. A familiar sound established on their debut record, but more elaborate and clear than ever before.

Topping it off with a suitably spacy and shifting dynamic lyric video made by Tom de Wit to accompany this song's musical journey.

‪@AEONS‬ signs with Layered Reality Productions and announces new release!

After a succesful run of critical acclaimed albums and shows on many stages (with a special mention to their show at Prog Metal Mania in Munich earlier this year) we at Layered Reality were very happy and honored to welcome these gents to the LRP family.

AEONS - known for their signature blend of progressive metal, melodic prog and brutal grooves - has completed their next project entitled "6EQUJ5" which will be released through Layered Reality Productions later this year .

Si from AEONS commented the following:

"6EQUJ5 has been a huge journey for the whole band, and a mammoth effort of composition and recording - all done by ourselves, here at home on the Isle of Man. We are delighted to sign with the wonderful Layered Reality Productions and bring this project to the world with like-minded people who share our vision and love for music. The new release is a complex epic that couldn't be better suited to a label who understands, and has passion for the art of prog-metal as much as we do. This is going to be a great partnership."

Returning with fresh energy, the Apeiron Bound collective (A.B.C) releases a new take on a familiar piece of music. Introducing multiple new bandmembers including singers Keith "Tank" McDowell & John Galloway, as well as Cody Letts on guitars and Kristopher Huffman on drums.

This fresh new take on the song Firmament (Originally found on the debut-album "Multiplicity") showcases how the sound of the collective has clear identifiers, but how it is evolving with the new influences brought in by the new contributors.

And to add to this release, the visual side is provided by artist Costin Chioreanu who recreates the intense art for this song in his own specific style!

And with a flash not unlike the fragments of consciousness that they unleashed upon the world before, Disconnected Souls returns with their new EP Spectral! A release that is equal parts catchy and ambient but also hits with a proper gut punch when needed.

Besides being a group that stands on it's own creatively, Spectral provides some new twists and turns (With some bandmembers even switching instruments) showing a deep desire to bring the music of the band to new places with every release. The band is joined on this release by singer Jessie Powell who adds an extra color to the allready multifaceted pallette of musical influences.

The track dives into a very modern and recognizable subject, as singer and lyricist Patrick Lloyd muses: "The lyrics of Spectral are about how society lends itself to isolation and overwork, preventing us from living our lives in a purposeful and healthy way. The Japanese term "karoshi" comes to mind. As far as I can see, this is only getting worse with time, so we need to make changes, and fight back against our fates, before we fade away."
