Today I had to say goodbye to my sweet girl, Pancake. 💔🐾

My heart feels shattered in a way that only pet parents truly understand. For 8 beautiful years, Pancake wasn’t just my dog — she was my little companion, my shadow, my comfort, and a quiet piece of my everyday life.

She was always right there with me. Whether I was relaxing at home, working, or just moving through my day, Pancake was nearby… watching, following, or curled up close. She had the sweetest spirit and a way of bringing calm just by being there.

Today I took her to the vet for cremation and to have her little paw print made so I can keep a piece of her with me forever. Saying goodbye like that was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do.

The house feels different already. Quieter. Like a little piece of love is missing.

But I’m so grateful that out of all the people in the world, she was my dog and I was her person. She gave me eight years of loyalty, comfort, and unconditional love, and that is a gift I will carry with me forever.

Run free now, my sweet Pancake. 🌈🐾
No more pain, only sunshine, soft grass, and endless peace.

You will always be loved.
You will always be remembered.
And you will always be my baby. 💔🐾
