I've got the coolest job in the world; as ExplorerJust I tackle adventures and expeditions all over the globe, engage with tens of thousands of school children around the world through my education programmes bringing the world to life in classrooms everywhere, and I'm an advocate for universal education provision - giving every child, everywhere, the opportunity to receive an education.
At home, ExplorerJust does pretty much anything and everything outdoors, from hiking to biking, and fishing to bushcraft.

What navigation books would YOU recommend?
If you're interested in navigation then you may find this book to be a good read. I found parts of it challenging, not because I couldn't understand the information but because I didn't appreciate some of the content and writing style and therefore found it frustrating.
However, it was fantastic for sending me off in different directions to explore areas of navigation that I hadn't really considered before (such as the psychology of 'getting lost') and presented some old information in news ways.

I'm sorry!
My last video gained quite a bit of traction and I was so pleased with and humbled by the level of interaction that I committed to posting videos much more regularly, with an aim of one a week.
But then I got struck by a bug doing the rounds here in Wales and it totally floored me, so I missed my window.
I'm back on my feet a little and itching to get going, but my voice is suddenly deep and gravelly (think Barry White, but deeper!) and I'm still quite 'bunged up'... not a great combination for making videos!
As soon as I'm through this I have more to planned and ready to go...

I've failed!
One of my goals this year was to post a video every week, but I'm amazed at how difficult that can be!
I've posted a lot more than usual and the channel has grown as a result, but this week, despite good intentions, it isn't going to happen.
My week has been filled with sleepless nights looking after two sick dogs. One, the husky, has lifted a little but Brida the young hunt away is still very much in it. After two trips to the vet we're now hopeful that she'll be back to her usual, bouncy, annoying self boy Monday.
I'l try harder, and may even get two posts up next week
