A Producer, composer, singer and song writer of Gospel, inspirational and motivational music. Dereq McFarlane started out on his musical journey from the tender age of 9 years old. Firstly learning the drums, then later in his life, fell in love with the keyboard and would moved on to learning it.

His journey as a song writer began at the age of 14 and from then he finds it a pleasure to daily challenge himself to become better at his craft.

Presently working with his newly found family Shi-Light Productions. Dereq McFarlane works tirelessly daily to produce anointed and inspirational songs that will impact lives and create change.
