What You Need To Know
Multiple people were shot Thursday morning at a high school in Perry, Iowa, police said

Dallas County Sheriff Adam Infante said during a news briefing that law enforcement received reports of the shooting at Perry High School at 7:37 a.m. local time and the first officer arrived on the scene within seven minutes

Infante said officials were working to determine how many people were wounded and the extent of their injuries

The suspect in the shooting has died of what investigators believe is a self-inflicted gunshot wound, a law enforcement official told The Associated Press
