Dear viewer
Welcome to my channel.
An audio book of the book 'I Am That' is another addition to this channel. It is done as a sign of gratitude for the gift that the book is.
The recordings are not meant as a discussion, but rather for a listener to ponder (earnestly).
*(for a description of the book, go to the playlist 'Nisargadatta Maharaj (I am That)
Enjoy the other shorts videos on this channel, reflecting fun events and short travels in my hood, in particular an ancient cave above the village.
Thank you for supporting this channel with a like, subscribe and follow and as an addition, I have added a link to my Patreon account, a call for support for both channels, where I share randomly selected and read texts of Nisargadatta maharaj and my other channel where I have discussions on image analysis on interesting astronomic phenomenon (Azure Fairy)

Question: It is a matter of daily experience that on waking up the world suddenly appears. Where does it come from?
Maharaj: Before anything can come into being there must be somebody to whom it comes. All appearance and disappearance presupposes a change against some changeless background.
Question: Before waking up I was unconscious.
Maharaj: In what sense? Having forgotten, or not having experienced? Don’t you experience even when unconscious? Can you exist without knowing? A lapse in memory: is it a proof of non-existence?And can you validly talk about your own non-existence as an actual experience? You cannot even
say that your mind did not exist. Did you not wake up on being called? And on waking up, was it not the sense ‘I am’ that came first? Some seed consciousness must be existing even during sleep, or
swoon. On waking up the experience runs: ‘I am -- the body -- in the world.’ It may appear to arise in succession but in fact it is all simultaneous, a single idea of having a body in a world. Can there be the sense of ‘I am’ without being somebody or other?
Question: I am always somebody with its memories and habits. I know no other ‘I am’.
Maharaj: Maybe something prevents you from knowing? When you do not know something which others know, what do you do?
Question: I seek the source of their knowledge under their instruction.
Maharaj: Is it not important to you to know whether you are a mere body, or something else? Or, maybe nothing at all? Don’t you see that all your problems are your body’s problems -- food, clothing, shelter, family, friends, name, fame, security, survival -- all these lose their meaning the moment
you realise that you may not be a mere body.

This first chapter of the audio/voiceover reading of the book 'I am That', contains everything a listener needs. The rest of the book is an elaboration of the first chapter. I would urge a listener to watch this playlist periodically and not as a 'loop' as the message is beyond the mind and continuous stimulation of the mind through repetition more often than not, leads to confusion.
The playlist contains the entire book.
When I first set out to record the book, I made a complete recording in chapters. After that I read 'randomly selected texts' from the book. ALL these recordings are contained in this playlist.
Subscribers may have noticed that I have slowed down with posts. The platform has become a playground for entertainment and while reading a book to listeners is also entertainment, my intention is not entertainment but the possibility to go beyond it all. For that it is imperative not to treat these recordings like entertainment in other words, creating loops that occupy the mind with sound. Thus I slowed down on the posts so as not to turn the message into entertainment for hungry minds to gobble up out of boredom.
For those of you who have subscribed, thank you for your support.
