So uhh... The "Space Jam 2 but it's just Daffy" video got taken down today and I just got a copyright strike, yay! :)))
I guess even short, slightly edited movie clips aren't safe anymore... (Also the content owners could've just claimed it and made money off it just like they did with the majority of my videos but nOOO they had to just erase it from existance like that)
Anyway, I'm gonna contact the content owner via email soon. Thinking of telling them the video is protected by "fair use" since it was somewhat edited and had bits of text here and there (Does that count as commentary? I hope so)
However, I don't know if that'll be enough. If y'all know anything else I can add to my email, feel free to suggest! This is my first strike ever and I'm not entirely sure how to respond.
(Also no I'm not gonna submit a counter notification, way too risky and I believe actual lawsuits are involved there-)
