Hi there everyone! I'm Theresa and I love to travel. It's no secret that I absolutely love to cruise, but I also love to visit historic homes, go antiquing and scrapbook as well. I also love travel gadgets that make traveling easier and more organized.

​So why "The Empty Armchair"? I'm a bit of an armchair historian since I love to read history and I've seen references to "armchair historians" -- people who know a lot about history without leaving their home. I no longer want to just be an armchair traveler, but want to get out and experience travel on my own, hence "The Empty Armchair".

My hope is that you will be motivated to get out of your own armchair and do some exploring outside of your routine travel plans. I'm hoping you will pick up some new ideas as to types of vacations, where to go, how to make travel planning easier and do some exploring.
