I'm Sable, the host of Full Out Healing and this is where I share my story.
I am many things:
I am a New Yorker at heart (BRONX REPRESENT), gardener, avid reader, educator, business owner, sister, friend, sistah friend, & daughter.
I am a Black queer femme, who has felt not Black enough, queer enough, or femme enough throughout her childhood and much of her adult life.
I am survivor of intimate partner violence who has questioned if it was real, believed it was my fault, judged herself for going back, mourned the loss of their approval, & ultimately, somehow found the courage to choose me anyway.
When I started my healing journey, I desperately wanted to know how other people moved through the mountains of deep shame, embarrassment, hurt & humiliation I held about this experience.
I created Full Out Healing so that if you identify with any aspect of what I've shared, it might be easier for you to find your own way to move through it yourself.

Have you ever had to choose between being "right" and being at peace?
For a long time, I was desperate for justice regarding the financial abuse I survived. But when I sat down and actually calculated the cost—legal fees, safety risks, emotional energy—I realized I couldn't afford it.
In my new video, I share why choosing peace wasn't giving up—it was a strategic power move.

So excited and honored to share this with you all!
I'm joining the brilliant A. Laura Brody of @opulentmobility for her "Genius Teatime" this Saturday, November 15th, at 7pm ET / 4pm PT.
We'll be having a conversation called "Dismantling the Myth of the Perfect Survivor."
This is a topic that's deeply personal to me. It's at the heart of my own healing—it’s what unlocked the self-compassion, self-forgiveness, and respect for the choices I made as a survivor that kept me alive.
We'll be diving deep into how we can challenge those invisible, insidious myths and unapologetically own our inherent worthiness and reclaim our own true narratives.
I thought of this fierce Full Out Healing community and just had to share.
It's a "pay-what-you-can" talk, and no one is turned away for lack of funds. I would be so honored to see you there.

Hope to see you Saturday!
In Solidarity,
Sable ✊🏿
