Final day volunteering with Bike Club due to summer break. We took them “surfing” OKC is going to host the 2028 Olympics at this same facility.
When we started the year, about 1/3 of the kids had never ridden a bike. This was a five mile uban ride and all did great.
Their graduation is the final step and they each will receive a free bike, helmet and several other items including a season pass to where we visited.
All my fellow volunteers are cyclists and retired.

Fractured a bone in my hand when I crashed riding the mountain bike.
The Mrs was out of town. “I’ll be just fine”, I said. One day later….

12 years ago today, we made a decision that changed everything.
We made the final mortgage payment… and became completely debt-free.
At the time, it felt like a financial milestone.
But looking back, it was something much bigger.
It was the moment we started taking back control of our lives.
Because debt doesn’t just cost you money…
It costs you freedom. It limits your choices.
Over the years, that one decision gave us the ability to:
• Increase our savings
• Stay consistent through market ups and downs
• And live like no one else, years later by retiring at 56
Today, life looks very different.
More time.
Less stress.
More freedom to choose how we spend our days.
Your journey might look different than ours…
But the principle is the same.
Small decisions, made consistently over time, can completely change your life.
