Hey folks, I am headed to Taiwan this week to attend COMPUTEX, where I think we will see some handheld PC announcements. Since I'll already be traveling to the other side of the Pacific Ocean, I decided to combine this Taiwan trip with a visit to Shenzhen, to hopefully gain more insights into how handhelds are designed and manufactured.

I've got a few videos scheduled to release while I'm gone, and I'll try to make/upload some more on the road, and of course I'll have some fun videos to make once I return in a few weeks.

Best Buy has already started their Memorial Day sale in the US, and the ROG Xbox Ally has been reduced to $500. With all other handhelds increasing in price, this is the cheapest handheld PC you can find retail right now.

The introductory price will be $83 for the black plastic version, and $100 for the silver metal version; after 72 hours the prices will go up to $88 and $108 respectively. Between the two, I like the lightness and retro feeling of the black model, but it's the silver one I've been using and enjoying the most, thanks to how sturdy and snappy it feels.
