Once upon a time...I was convinced I was worthless. That my life didn't matter. That if I ended it, no one would care.
But deep inside, my soul knew I was here for a reason. That my life had purpose and I'd one day do something that would help a lot of people. The knowing in my soul is what kept me alive.
It took years to find the courage to write and share my story about healing from extreme child abuse. As Trevor Hall's song says, You Can't Rush Your Healing. Writing the book and the accompanying album has been a powerful, integrative healing experience. My hope and prayer is that it will reach the people who need it the most and have a lasting, tangible impact on their own personal healing process.
That said, the musical companion to my album, Into the Light, is almost here. The book comes out May 26th, and the pre-sale link is now live, just in time for my birthday, March 21st, the first day of Spring.
It's a time of rebirth, renewal, and new growth, which is precisely what the book is about.
Thank you to everyone who has encouraged me throughout this process. You've been my inspiration.
