I've been brainstorming this video for a quite some time now. (July-ish). Initially it was going to cover the idea of "renting, not owning", then I was thinking "conspiracies", realized that was gonna be hell to cover. The idea of "Hopelessness" was popping up more in my head- Not from my view, but how I noticed everyone else was feeling about the world. I made other videos after that (unrelated), then JUST as I was writing this script in late February, a certain Australian animator made his own video covering more or less what I was thinking. 💔

I finished my script already, it has some pretty similar tones to that other guy's video, but I still tried my best to make it my own.

Also I made this amazing thumbnail (Proof Leonardo da Vinci is not dead)

Can you believe it? I sure can't. (Feels both like yesterday AND a whole other lifetime ago)

I made this GARGANTUAN video that is nearly 4 HOURS LONG, which is just of me reacting to EVERY SINGLE video I have made over the past half-decade.

I do not expect anyone to actually watch this whole thing (Respect to those who do 😭), perhaps as background noise?

I made this video more for myself, just to actually see what progress I have made over this time, and to think about how I can step up from here on out.

I may not be where I thought I'd be by now (haven't even cracked 1k), but I don't plan on stopping now.

IT'S 2026! I'm turning 18 soon... 2016 was 10 years ago, oh god.

2026 is going to be a pretty busy and big year for me, so I'm not sure how many videos I can produce. Not only am I turning 18 and graduating soon, but more importantly, Vlogmations is turning 5 YEARS OLD!

I hope New Year's Eve was fun for you and that your day is going well.

I will see you most likely on February 14th for the anniversary. (Unless I can squeeze an animation this month, but don't hold your breath)
