Welcome to my Central Florida garden (Zone 10a), where something is always growing šæ
I focus mainly on flowersāespecially roses, zinnias, delphinium, and ranunculus, depending on the seasonāalong with a variety of herbs. I also love growing pollinator-friendly plants that attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds šš¦šø
Gardening in a hot, humid climate comes with its challenges, and I share what works (and what doesnāt!) as I grow throughout the seasons. Because we can garden year-round in Zone 10a, thereās always something happeningāfrom seed starting and planting to harvesting and maintenance āļøš
Whether youāre new to gardening or looking for tips on growing in warm climates, youāll find inspiration and practical advice here.

Friends I have to admit that I have pretty much abandoned the garden due to the World Cup. š«£
Thankful for all the rain weāve been receiving because for now until July 19th the garden is on survival mode. Iām trying to do some weeding and hopefully will start some more zinnia seeds in between games. Is anyone else living and breathing only ā½ļøā½ļø for now?

1st bloom from Sweet Sanne dahlia. She took forever to get going but it was worth the wait. For those of us that live in Central Florida we have 2 times/year we can plant dahlias. Ideally you want to plant your tubers February and September.
