The campaign film, "A Life of Conviction"—produced by Pinaka Mediaworks and Rolling Frames Entertainment—was officially screened in the august presence of the Honourable Governor of Punjab and Administrator of UT Chandigarh, Shri Gulab Chand Kataria Ji, and Justice Alka Sarin, Judge, Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh, during the swearing-in ceremony of Dr Rita Kalra as the District Governor of Rotary District 3080 (2026–27) held at the Chandigarh Jucial Academy on July 1, 2026.
The film, directed by Ojaswwee Sharma captures Dr Rita Kalra’s visionary outlook for the region and her deep-rooted commitment to social impact. It is a profound honour for our teams to have filmed and produced this cinematic piece for Dr Rita Kalra Ji and Dr Sanjay Kalra Ji, documenting an inspiring journey dedicated to serving humanity with compassion.

Today, we proudly mark the 6th anniversary of the release of "Admitted," a movie that has become a deeply meaningful documentary on transgender education and human rights in India. Directed by Ojaswwee Sharma, "Admitted" is the true story of Mx Dhananjay Chauhan (Rekha), showing her life and efforts with honesty. We are truly grateful to everyone who has watched, supported, and shared the film, helping spread its important message worldwide through our channel and public screenings.

"Admitted" came out on June 13th, 2020. Following a long journey through many film festivals, it went on to win the Special Jury Award at the 68th National Film Awards from the Government of India. Since then, the movie has been chosen for over 20 film festivals and has won more than 14 awards, standing out as a proud example of inclusive filmmaking. The Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, Government of India has honoured the film twice.

Even with all its success and national awards, "Admitted" has been kept completely free for everyone to watch on platforms like YouTube, keeping its focus entirely on education and human rights.

It was a distinct honour for National Award-Winning Film Director Shri Ojaswwee Sharma to speak on the growing impact of Film Tourism before a distinguished delegation at the North India Tourism Expo & Conclave on Friday, 29th May 2026 in Chandigarh.

Drawing from over a decade of filmmaking experience across Chandigarh, Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, New Delhi, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh, Shri Ojaswwee Sharma had the opportunity to share insights based on personal experiences regarding the powerful, reciprocal relationship between cinema and tourism. He highlighted how local narratives thrive when supported by an enabling environment, and how films, in turn, put these incredible regions on the global map.

The expo was attended by prominent delegates from various States and Union Territories across North India.

Sincere gratitude to Sh. Sudhir Sobti (Former Chief Manager - PR & Publicity, Events, and Film Shootings Facilitation at Delhi Tourism, Govt. of Delhi) and Sh. Ajay Gupta (Chairman & Managing Director, ICM Group) for the invitation.




चंडीगढ़ में शुक्रवार, 29 मई 2026 को आयोजित 'नॉर्थ इंडिया टूरिज्म एक्सपो एंड कॉन्क्लेव' (North India Tourism Expo & Conclave) में एक प्रतिष्ठित प्रतिनिधिमंडल के समक्ष फिल्म पर्यटन (Film Tourism) के बढ़ते प्रभाव पर बोलना राष्ट्रीय पुरस्कार विजेता फिल्म निर्देशक श्री ओजस्वी शर्मा के लिए अत्यंत सम्मान की बात थी.

चंडीगढ़, पंजाब, हरियाणा, हिमाचल प्रदेश, नई दिल्ली, उत्तराखंड और उत्तर प्रदेश के विविध क्षेत्रों में एक दशक से अधिक के फिल्म निर्माण के अनुभवों को समेटते हुए, श्री ओजस्वी शर्मा को सिनेमा और पर्यटन के बीच के शक्तिशाली व पारस्परिक संबंधों पर अपने व्यक्तिगत अनुभवों के आधार पर विचार साझा करने का अवसर मिला. उन्होंने इस बात पर विशेष प्रकाश डाला कि कैसे एक अनुकूल और सुगम वातावरण मिलने पर स्थानीय कहानियाँ फलती-फूलती हैं, और कैसे फ़िल्में बदले में इन अद्भुत क्षेत्रों को वैश्विक मानचित्र पर स्थापित करती हैं.

इस प्रतिष्ठित आयोजन में उत्तर भारत के विभिन्न राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों के प्रमुख प्रतिनिधियों ने भाग लिया।
