It's not that Yehoveh replaced an old, failed law with something new and better." 🕊️
It's easy to hear "new covenant" and assume the old one got thrown out. But Jeremiah's prophecy — and Yeshua's own words in the Sermon on the Mount — tell a different story. The Law didn't disappear. It moved from stone tablets to human hearts, and the standard it calls us to actually got higher, not lower.
Save this one for the next time someone tells you the Law is done away with.

Here's a question most Bible readers never stop to ask: why did Yehoveh promise to write His Torah on hearts instead of stone?
Because a law you have to keep looking up is a law you can forget, ignore, or argue your way around. But a law written into the very core of who you are?
That's not information anymore. That's identity.
This is the New Covenant Jeremiah prophesied centuries before Yeshua walked the earth — and by the time Malachi was writing, roughly a century later, it was already common knowledge among the Jewish people, still waiting to be fulfilled. It wasn't a replacement for God's Torah. It was a relocation.
From tablets of stone to the human heart.
Tom puts it simply in this teaching: "Yehoveh remains their God and they remain His people." That's the whole promise, in eight words.
📌 Save this for the next time you need reminding that His promises don't sit outside you — they live inside you.

What if the Bible wasn’t meant to be read apart from the world in which it was written?
The Scriptures were inspired within a Hebrew culture, spoken through real people, in real places, during real moments in history. When we take the time to understand that context, familiar passages often take on new depth.
At Torah Class, Tom Bradford teaches the Bible the way it was written: verse by verse, with careful attention to its language, culture, history, and geography. The goal isn’t to change God’s Word. It’s to better understand it.
Whether you’re studying Genesis, the Gospels, or Revelation, seeing Scripture through its original context can help connect passages that once seemed difficult and reveal the unity of God’s plan from beginning to end.

God built a universe with 4 dimensions — three of space, one of time. He sanctified space through the Tabernacle. He sanctified time through Shabbat. No other day has ever been declared holy by Yehoveh. The 7th day is uniquely, irrevocably His — a foretaste of the eternal rest still to come.

When we read the Gospels through the historical and biblical context of the first century, we discover that Yeshua taught from the Scriptures, celebrated God’s appointed times, and pointed people back to the Father’s plan from the very beginning.
Understanding the Jewish context of the Bible isn’t about replacing your faith. It’s about enriching it.
The more we understand the world of the Bible, the more clearly we can understand the words of the Messiah.

Many people have been taught that the “Old Testament” no longer matters. But is that what Scripture teaches?
The Bible isn’t made up of two disconnected stories. From Genesis to Revelation, it reveals one consistent plan of redemption and one unchanging God.
When we study the Scriptures through their original Hebrew language, culture, and historical context, passages that once seemed confusing begin to make sense. The New Testament doesn’t replace the foundation laid before it. It builds upon it.
At Torah Class, we believe every book of the Bible matters. That’s why we teach Scripture verse by verse, helping students discover the richness and depth of God’s Word in its original context.
What is one Old Testament passage that has deepened your understanding of the New Testament? Share it in the comments.
