Having worked as an artist in the film industry for over thirty years and teaching Figure Drawing & Anatomy classes at Game, Film and teaching institutions around Europe for the last several years, it's my hope to be able to share some of what I've learned over the years here on this channel.

Hello folks, Richard here. Firstly, apologies for the late update, it's been far too long. I had hoped I could get to a point in the recovery that I'd be able to update with positive and encouraging news. In many ways the recovery has gone well with my strength steadily increasing and energy returning to more normal levels. Unfortunately though despite everyone's best efforts it would appear that the cancer is back and has spread to multiple locations. So, unfortunately I'll start chemo again this coming Thursday. Despite everything I'm actually feeling pretty good right now and so hopefully I'll respond to the treatment positively. In spite of all this I think often about the livestreams and have not given up on the idea of those coming back! Let's see how the next few weeks go. Hope everyone is well.

Hello folks. I'm so sorry but I'm going to need to cancel today's stream. Things have been far more challenging medically than I thought they'd be. I will be having surgery next Monday (March 2nd). I'll be in hospital for up to a month post surgery so I think it's likely to be 6-8 weeks before I'm able to stream again. Thankyou for your understanding and support during this time. Hello folks, Richard here. It felt like we're well overdue for an update and with the radiotherapy portion of treatment finished as of yesterday it felt like as good a time as any! First of all I'd just like to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for all the love and support you've sent my way. I'm truly humbled, you're all awesome! So yeah, now time to heal and get strong for the surgery in January. I'm feeling ok all in all, tired but happy to put the last eight months behind me. Slowly starting to get back into a creative mindset and thinking lots about what lies ahead, exciting times I hope! Ok, enough of being a patient, time to get on with it. Hope everyone is doing well, and I look forward to communicating a little more often.
