If who wins mattered more than the animation quality itself, maybe I shouldn't have started animation in the first place 🤦♂
Buck vs Spino marked my first year of animating in SFM (dec 15, 2024 — dec 30, 2025). I was expecting this reaction. But I wish people understood why it turned out the way it did, choreography-wise.
After all, people hated JP3 fight despite its animation miles better than mine. That's on me.
A year from now on, I won't be able to animate because if I managed to pass the entrance exam, I have to completely leave everything behind. I don't want to fail, so there's even less chance for this channel to continue. By the time I'm able to animate, I'll probably be too old for that type of stuff.
While there's that, I only have a 3 hour window to animate, study, or workout. Which I wouldn't prioritize animation at all.
The T. rexes in Jurassic park are able to generate magnitude 2 earthquakes with their footstomps.
To ripple water, you have to exert about magnitude 2 level earthquakes. Since it's obvious that it's not coming from their weight but from their strength, it's all the more absurd of how strong their legs are. Not even a log would shatter their knee.
So yes, no IRL Rex, Goliath, Ed cope, and how big you make them up to be, it doesn't matter because they can't possibly trip a JP Rex.
Applying newtons third law, and assuming the T. Rex's shin, ankle, and every skeletal part of its leg has the same bone density or strength as the rest of its skeleton, there is no way for the IRL Rex to even crush JP Rex.
While I admit that I don't know jackshit about powerscaling or anything in these type of debates, logically, this sounds about right I guess. It's just absurd though. I forgot to add this when I made that Sue and Rexy comparison a year ago.
