So I know I have no videos lately… but on the plus side, I basically sat down and sprinted recording Software Inc for like 2 days straight now. Eventually when my family schedule cools down, I’ll take and edit that. ;)

Loads of things distracting me during the summer. Kids out of school now, and lots of activities and such scheduled as is typical this time of year. When uploads slow to a crawl (now), this is why usually. I'll do what I can to fit recordings in, and will have some time every week, but it's nowhere near the same amount of time as I usually do when they are away in school every day.

CAR DEALER SIM: I don't know what the issue is, or how it can be fixed, because I'm not smart enough for that. All I'm gonna do is reduce some settings and hope for the best as I continue it a little longer and we'll see.

RETRO REWIND: Looking to get a few more done this week. Hopeful for a video out tomorrow, and every day after that, but no promises.

Can only afford one project really at a time after this I think, so I'll see about adding something new to my plate once these two are wrapped up. I'm taking a look at a few interesting ideas, some are quick one-offs perhaps (we'll see how videos perform), while others I can definitely see 15-20 videos out of them.

Stuff coming up:

CAR DEALER SIMULATOR coming with its new Up 2 U DLC, and I’ve got the coverage coming again with a new play-through with it! Recording begins this coming week.

STARMINER is a game I’ve been playing in Beta and have been involved with previewing in the past. It’s getting released this coming week too! I might not have content immediately on release day, but I’m going to try!

The pacing for this game is pretty slow. It’s not something I’m thinking will work particularly well for a “let’s play” but we’ll see. I have other things of interest to replace it with, if my hunch is correct. Stuff like Goblin Vyke.

ABOVE THE SNOW left for holiday before I could finish it. One last video coming as soon as I can to wrap it up.

XCOM 2: Long War Of The Chosen (Legend) has begun recording for the SECOND CHANNEL. Those who submitted soldiers have early access to the first 6 videos now. I’ll begin publishing that series for the public over there once ChristopherOdd finishes his current run, or the last week of June, whichever happens first.

Final Update here for the upcoming XCOM 2 Play-through.

48 hours remaining to get your own solider in the start of the campaign. Submissions will remain open even after May 22, but the campaign will have begun by then. You don’t need to have any mods, or even own the game yourself, to get one in. Learn more in our Discord.

The series will begin publishing in June on the second channel. Here’s the parameters, for those familiar:


Long War of the Chosen - Legend
There are almost 220 mods, most of which are cosmetic to give more personalization to solider options, and lots of quality of life mods. Nothing majorly impacting balance.


I’ll attempt to strike a balance between being entertaining and educational, as I usually do. If you’re interested in that, keep an eye on the second channel (all links pinned below).

Patrons and Members get early access as usual, even though it is on a different channel. I will also be granting early access to everyone who submits a solider for the campaign as well, so for this series, you don’t have to financially support for that access. You get it merely by submitting for a soldier in the campaign.

Still time to get Pryority placement for the upcoming 10th anniversary XCOM 2 campaign. More information can be found in my 10th anniversary video.

Response has been admittedly slower than anticipated, so there’s still an okay chance to get a soldier nearly the beginning of the campaign. Pinned comment below for info.

You do not need to own the game to make a character. We do it for you. Just need to follow instructions.

HOLLYWOOD ANIMAL devs announced their plans for ACT 2 today, and there’s loads of good stuff in there I’m excited to try out. That said, there’s no mention of Act 1 carrying over into Act 2, and there’s no release date either.

Before their announcement, I recorded 2 videos for Hollywood Animal. With this new info released, those two videos are the end of my Act 1 playlist. “That’s a wrap” on this series. I’ll have those out to you late this weekend.

NEWS TOWER is getting wrapped up too, this weekend. I simply don’t feel incentive to progress more in the game at this time, and so the last episode of the playlist will publish this weekend as well.

That leaves ALL WILL FALL and UNDER PAR on the schedule. I’ve probably got a couple more for AWF left, and I think I’m gonna build the boat after all. We’ll see how viewership interest is for that. As for Under Par, I got another course to make I’m gonna work on this weekend.

ABOVE THE SNOW begins recording early next week. Really looking forward to exploring that. I also have one more announcement for you guys… but you’ll have to wait for tomorrow for that!
