I hate when directors completely ruin characters just to push the spotlight onto someone else. Bozdağ has done this with so many characters, and Gonca in Season 5 is definitely one of them. When Gonca and Alaeddin were boosting the ratings, they were basically treated like the main leads. But the moment Season 6 started, the focus suddenly shifted to Fatima and Flavius and to make that happen, it feels like Gonca and Alaeddin’s characters were completely sacrificed. Now all they seem to do is cry. Gonca’s character especially feels so different. She used to be full of sass, but all she does now is to mourn. RIDICULOUS.
