Big DistroKid update for AI music creators.

DistroKid is now asking creators to check whether their music is AI assisted or not during the upload process.

I broke down the whole thing in my newest video, what it means, how the process looks, and why I think this is a big moment for everyone making music with AI tools.

The important part is this,

DistroKid currently says music made with AI tools can be uploaded, but you need to own the rights, avoid impersonation, avoid infringement, and not mass generate spam just to flood platforms. That is the line we need to understand clearly. This is not the time to panic. This is the time to move smarter.

My take,

AI assisted does not automatically mean bad.
AI assisted does not automatically mean banned.
AI assisted does mean the platforms are starting to build the paperwork trail.

So if you are using AI music tools, you need to start thinking like a real artist, producer, label, and business owner.

Own your process.
Keep records.
Build real brands.
Make better music.
Do not spam garbage.
Do not copy real artists.
Do not impersonate voices.
Do not play games with fake streams.

The **picture is important** because it helps everyone visually connect with the track while they listen.

The entire community will listen and vote by liking the songs they enjoy the most.


The track with the **highest number of likes by Friday** wins the $100.


We may also start adding **consolation prizes, shoutouts, and featured tracks** as this grows.
