Guys - have researched on how dietary fat (including ghee, different cooking oils , animal and plant fat) influences your lipid profile report.
In short, what’s the safest cooking oil for Indian cooking to maintain good health. Please take the poll below.
Very interesting findings - something most people don’t talk about I.e there is a gap in understanding fat choices in food and how LDL and TG might fluctuate.

I hope you all have watched this one - this is where it all began - when I realised that this info is what every living human needs to know, but is somehow so deeply hidden that even doctors (me being one) are not taught in med school (and therefore are totally unaware). Please please watch this webinar recording.

These are all the tests that I call the metabolic profile.
Some are optional such as thyroid function (needed in women)
Renal function includes Uric acid in this lab (Suburban Diagnostics)
SGOT/SGPT are liver enzymes that tell you if fatty liver is starting to damage liver functionality.
Add the following if doing for the first time:
1. hsCRP
2. Serum Homocysteine levels
3. Lipoprotein A levels
Imaging to be done once in 3-4 years
1. CT Coronary angiography with CAC score
2. Ultrasound Abdomen for fatty liver staging.
3. DEXA scan for whole body composition levels.
