How confident do you feel, right now, in defending what you believe about God, Jesus, and the Bible? When you think about sharing your faith, are there any questions you secretly hope the other person won’t ask? The fact is, when we share our Christian faith, the world is going to have questions. If you are a follower of Jesus Christ, you need to be ready to explain not only what you believe, but also why you believe it to be true. This channel is going to help you get there.
Watch live debate streams and clips to inspire, educate, and equip you to give a defense for the reason for the hope that is in you (1 Pe 3:15), correct your opponents with gentleness (2 Tm 2:25), and take every thought captive to the control of Jesus Christ (2 Co 10:5).

Years ago at Park Community Church, they took a live poll of the congregation, asking which Person of the Trinity we were least familiar with. Overwhelmingly, the answer came back: the Holy Spirit.
I’d reckon that’s still true for most Evangelicals today. We may shy away from Pneumatology (study of the Holy Spirit) because we don’t want to veer into wacko Charismaniac territory. That’s understandable, but it shouldn’t cause us to neglect to study Him entirely. After all, He is God—just as much as the Father and the Son.
I wrote this article as part of my ordination process, and I’m sharing it with you, so you can get to know God better. I hope it makes you think.

For a book to be included in the New Testament, it had to meet certain criteria, which I represent by the acronym COLA. Catholic (recognized by all the churches), Orthodox (teaching right doctrine about God), Liturgical (used in corporate worship), Apostolic (from an apostle or apostolic associate and written in the First Century).
To get these criteria, we need not appeal to the Roman Catholic Church, the Eastern Orthodox Church, or any other organization. In fact, we don't need to go outside of Scripture at all. The books of the NT provide their own criteria... and they meet that same criteria.
Catholic: Colossians 4:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:27; Revelation 1:11; 2 Peter 3:15–16
Orthodox: Galatians 1:8–9; 1 John 4:1–3; 2 John 9–10; 1 Timothy 6:3–4; Titus 1:9
Liturgical: 1 Timothy 4:13; Colossians 4:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:27; Revelation 1:3; Acts 2:42
Apostolic: Ephesians 2:20; Acts 2:42; John 14:26; 16:13; 2 Thessalonians 2:15; 2 Thessalonians 3:17; 2 Peter 3:2; Luke 1:1–4; Hebrews 2:3–4
Haters will say this is circular... and it IS! All reasoning about ultimate foundations is necessarily circular. But this is a virtuous, self-justifying circle, and it is inescapable. For the Christian, there is no epistemic foundation more basic than the Bible itself. Thankfully the Bible is up to the task.

This channel is growing at an insane rate. Thanks for watching, commenting, and LIKE-ing our videos. We need a name for this community. Is it still the ThinkSquad—the name for The Think Institute's community in general? Or is it something else?

For all its flaws, the Young, Restless, Reformed movement was far superior to the Orthobro movement.
And it's not even close.
