As a child I always dreamed of being a singer. As a teen, music was my great escape. I knew I had to be around music for my career. I went to work at a radio station and as chance would have it met my husband. It was 1989. He was in Deep Purple and challenged our radio station to a charity soccer match.

He took me on the road with him in 1993 and when he needed a singer, asked me to be his voice.
In our downtime, we wrote music that was a release from the stress of the world. A place of fantasy, of star filled skies, castles on hillsides.

We formed Blackmore's Night 27 years ago and released our 11th studio album, Nature's Light. Our 25th Anniversary edition of Shadow of the Moon and Fires At Midnight complete with remixes, remastered versions, deluxe editions and vinyl are out now.

Breathing in the magic in the air and enjoying the music for my last night here in Athens. Just wanted to say thank you all for the amazing birthday wishes last week. I still havent opened all the presents! We had a big karaoke party that lasted till 530 a and my house was filled with music, laughter, friends, family and flowers. Many memories made to reflect on for years to come. Thank you all for a wonderful birthday. Still reveling in the moments....Love you all.
