What happens when you start Mixed Media Watercolor with Tape & Ink? I masked off white areas with tape, made expressive marks with my Cola Pen, then added watercolor in just 3 colors, Sepia, Manganese Blue Hue and Cadmium Yellow light. The result was pretty cool!

I made a DIY Cola Pen out of a Starbucks can and leopard duck tape and then used it to start a mixed media watercolor.
The marks this thing makes are unlike anything I've used before. Expressive, unpredictable, and a little addictive.
Go watch, then raid your recycling bin. You're going to want to make one of these.

I found a set of soft pastels with colors I will use! 😍 This is the 36 pastel set from Lightwish. Not too bright, slightly muted earthy tones in full sticks. The aren’t too soft to make detail marks but go down easily. Best part is they were $30.👀 Can’t wait to play with these!
