"Begotten" is a band from Daugavpils, which released 1 full-length album (“Awake”) and a single (‘Haereticus Manifesto’). The years of the band's activity were from 2009 to 2015. Released music in the blackned death metal genre.
Andrey "Wintersong" Grishmanov (2013-2017 - vocalist of "Urskumug") can be considered the leader of the band, thanks to whom the band started playing black death metal. Andrei was inspired by the work of Adam "Nergal" Darsky from Behemoth. The music in the band was composed mainly by "Wintersong" and guitarist Maxim "Wolf" Popov (2014-present - vocalist and rhythm guitarist of "Varang Nord"). In addition to the above two people, the last line-up of the band included Yaroslav "Sokol" Sokolov (2014-2017 - lead guitarist of "Varang Nord") and Dmitry Sukhanovsky (2016-present - drummer in "Mayla").
"Begotten" is not a particularly prominent band on the Latvian scene, but it deserves the listener's attention at least because of the presence of really interesting riffs and atmosphere.

Introducing you to London underground, with roots straight from Daugavpils - ORDER.
The discography of this two-man band is quite small: 8 tracks included in the EP "Your shit is our bread and butter!" and the single "Cum - On - Command", but this work deserves close attention.

You can see the detailed history of the band on their facebook page and in the comments under this post, which is a full copy of what the band wrote about themselves. However, it's still worth telling about them briefly: a little after the breakup of Asthma, in 2016 Viktor "Abdula" Rinkevich moved to London, where he met his fellow countryman Pavel "Piton" Stepanov. At one point, their ideas and desires for creating music came together and it was decided to record a mixture of punk hardcore, synth metal and electronic music, where the lyrics would go from the extremes of madness and perversion to hatred of capitalists.
