For all of you who have been wondering if the Mobapads have a charging issue on the switch 2, and wondering why I haven't covered it in the videos, here's my explanation:
(Q) Do the Mobapads NOT charge while the switch 2 is in sleep mode or while docked, and is this an issue I should be worried about?
(A) The only way that that is a negative effect on you is if you use your joy-cons detached from your console frequently OR you let your switch die and let the joy-con decharge which means you're not playing for a very long period of time.
The fact that they will charge immediately as soon as you turn the system back on means that as long as you're using them as they are intended attached to the switch, you're not really going to have any issues with that.
Although I would agree that that is an issue and it shouldn't be the case. The reason I haven't mentioned it in my videos is that it literally hasn't affected me in a negative way to this point. I'm even switching between devices for testing and they still haven't died on me sitting unused for a week or so at a time.
