Alright alright alright!

We’re officially back into regular updates 🙌

Firstly — thank you to everyone watching and sticking with us. We definitely took a longer break than planned… but we’re well and truly chomping at the bit now.

As you may have noticed, dear old Frodo the FJ has been retired (not forever) and we’ve welcomed Panda the Van 🐼🚐

We’re giving vanlife a crack — aiming to blend adventure travel with a bit more comfort and style (ish).

We’ll be doing a proper deep dive on the van soon.

AND, We’ve been getting loads of questions on 'why the change?', 'how we find camps?', 'what we eat?' 'how do you find hikes or rides?' — so we’re putting together some mid-week videos focused purely on the how and why behind what we do.

The plan:
• One main adventure video each week
• Every second week — a mid-week “behind the scenes or how-to” video

We’re usually about 2–4 weeks ahead of what you’re seeing. That means:
→ a couple more Tassie episodes
→ then a few Victoria vids
→ then into South Australia (super excited for this)

Right now we’re on the Great Ocean Road and crossing fingers the weather behaves 🤞(and it starts raining as I type this 😅)

Anyways, we’re buzzing to be back in the swing of it — thanks for coming along for the ride.

Last video we said we were going to wrap up the Expedition Australia series with another video or 2 on trip stats and our thoughts, feeling, tips, tricks and myths busted. We have a few things written down already to put into the video, but if you want any specific questions answered, please add them as a comment to this post.

Good morning everyone 🙂

This week's video will be a bit delayed.

We have arrived back in Brisbane (home)! So sadly the expedition Australia series is almost done. In saying this, the last couple of week's have been a bit chaotic with getting back into non-travel life, leaving video editing as a bit last minute at times. Hopefully once we are back in the swing of things, we can get into a good routine with it.

Secondly and very sadly, we lost one of our cameras while shooting some surfing scenes in Hat Head NSW. This has unfortunately meant we have lost a bit off footage from our East Coast Journey. Classic us - we have been so diligent with backing up photos and videos and the one week we don't, we lose the camera and SD 😔.


Anyway, we'll do our best and this is not the end for us. We have a lot of exciting things coming up this year and we're excited to share it with you all!

Hullo YT fam. 

Each week we write a Newsletter called our 'Plan of Attack'. It's a bit of a story of the current week activities and the shenanigans we have been up to. We've been posting it to our other socials for the last wee while and feel like Youtube should be shown some love. Going forward, we'll be linking it here for any that are interested in reading. Note there is a bit of a gap between our current YT public videos and Newsletter feed. This is what we call the YT Effect. 

Reading the Newsletter will forever be free and we'll be doing each week until we drop.

Hullo and happy Sunday everyone 🙂

For those interested, below is a snip update for the videos currently in the works. 

We think it'll be quite cool to share this as we go along. The thinking is if anyone wants to chime in with good spots for us to head to, or film, it would be much appreciated. At the moment we are releasing 2 videos a week. We are trying to catch up to where we are currently - seeing as we struggled to upload during our time in the NT. Probably around Christmas time we'll drop to 1 video a week. We'll provide more info as we get closer.
