TOP 10 OF 2025!

Hi everyone! It's that time of year again, the end of it, and tradition says the Christmas special is a top 10 of my favourite games of the year. It's been a bit different with a baby for the first time, so there are probably half the number of new releases I'd usually have played by now, even with how crazy packed the run up to Essen was! Hopefully I'll get round to some more of those in the new year, although some like the excitably talked about Sweet Lands seem so unavailable they just kind of disappear off my radar.

I think I mention in the video, I'd like to do a stream soon chatting about top 10s and what I've missed off and why, and partly to see what has passed me by while I've been making all these videos in the gaps between trying to make Sabrina laugh! Maybe it'll get rolled into an anticipated 2026 stream, it'll be on the way though. I always mean to look back on old top 10s and see how they hold up too but the relentless march of playthroughs usually gets in the way :D We haven't done a chatty kind of stream in a long while though, one is on the way!

So here's the list! Despite that more limited pool there have been plenty of fantastic games, and I'll be excited if there are more around that can rival these. Anyway, there'll definitely be some things before the new year but this always feels like a kind of full stop for some reason so I'll still say thank you all so much for being here and supporting me especially in what has been a different year for making these videos (at least behind the scenes it has been!) - there are already things starting to pile up for January and I'm looking forward to getting it all on the table but for now have a lovely Christmas stroke holiday season whatever you're up to, hope you play some great games and I'll see you soon!
